Shoreline Sign originally began on Nantucket Island over 22 years ago. Nantucket whose history is steeped in the whaling industry is considered the birthplace of the Quarterboard. Shoreline Sign continues the tradition from our workshop now located in beautiful Orleans, Cape Cod. "The elbow of the Cape".

All of our House Number Signs, Quarterboards and Custom Signs are hand carved from select Mahogany stock. Only high quality yacht enamel paint is used. Each sign is gilded using 23KT gold leaf imported from Europe. Local artisans and woodcarvers employ the same techniques using chisels and mallets that were used decades ago.

Each sign piece is then dated and signed before leaving our shop. A Shoreline Sign is crafted to bring enjoyment and beauty for generations to come.
